If no keys are pressed within 30 seconds when the controller is in a settable state, the display backlight turns off. If no keys are pressed within another 30 seconds, the controller enters power-saving mode.

Pressing any key returns the controller to the original display interface. In power-saving mode, the first line shows the current date and the second line displays the current time.
